Not only did they provide a powerful vision of what we could accomplish that captured our core values - but they even helped us migrate from our current vendor, saving us thousands of dollars every month. Case Background

Revival Christian Fellowship (RCF) needed to migrate away from an existing website developer that was charging above-industry standard rates, while providing sub-industry standard development. In short, they were paying too much for too little. The vendor provided adequate service and response to maintaining the site, but poor coding practices, and an aging code base limited their ability for any future enhancements. Additionally the code was encumbered, and interwined with special functions on the vendors shared server that a simple migration by copying the site data was not possible. The original intended solution was to hire a web programmer full-time to assist in the migration. Any change they made would have to be a monumental leap forward. The (then) current vendor proposed changes related to design or look-and-feel, but failed to capture the true vision and core values of RCF by translating those changes into actual transformed lives and experiences.

Project Summary

Idea Spring, Inc. provided a detailed project plan, based on a fixed per-milestone fee avoiding any cost overrun due to time delays. This project included migrating their site from a shared server environment to a hosted cluster environment, providing greater performance at less cost than the previous vendor. Additionally, a change was made to their streaming provider, resulting in additional cost savings and the ability to grow their streaming capabilities without straining their budget.

Once the migration was completed, a detailed vision and road-map was developed in conjunction with the RCF leadership, to begin developing their new online inititiaves over the course of the next 18 months.
